This is not right. It doesn't snow it March. It snows maybe one week, tops, all year. But this year, we have had snow all winter. This is the third time that just as the snow has finally melted away, we get hit again. I just don't know what to say. I'm flabbergasted. It's March!

I hit up Le Chateau to see if they had these amazing leopard print tights that I fell in love with this morning at Hail Mary... and they did... and they were on sale 75% off. I also went to Ardene's and took advantage of the 5 for $10 deal, because I am a 12 year old girl at heart.

I have frequently been staring into the sun lately, wishing that I had a pair of sunglasses handy. Now I won't have to worry about being blinded when I sit on the patio at Starbucks.

I want to transform a blue T-shirt that I have, but I couldn't decided which ribbon to put on my sleeves, so I bought them both!

Tina and I hit up a few of the local thrift stores, again, today.

I was disapointed with the selection at Sally Ann, but I found these gems for $7. Later when we were at Value Village, most of the shoes were over $20!!! I love the slight heel. I'm short, so I can use the extra height, but rarely do I wear anything that's very high.

I've been wanting more belts lately, so I was excited to see this one for only $1 at Share.

While sipping our Starbucks, Tina and I decided to wander around the Save On Foods that was next door. They had a bunch of items on for $0.99. I scored this really nice headband. I love the nautical feel of it... and it has a bow.

Yesterday I had such a great day. I dragged my friend, Tina, to Value Village with me. She's not normally into scowering the racks of clothes, but she actually got pretty into it (and even ended up spending more than I did!). Sometimes I find VV a little bit depressing because I find so many incredible pieces, but since I am a big girl, they are usually way too small. This time, I managed to walk away with some pretty cool stuff.


According to T, this dress is something her grandmother would wear on a cruise. I love it. She eventually came around once I tried it on and paired it with a belt.

It's way too long, but nothing a little hemming won't fix.
At first glance, I fell in love. However I feared it would make me look like a clown. It probably does, but not to the extent which I originally thought. Even Tina, with her conservative fashion sense, like it.

The metal bracelet needs a bit of love, and it will have it.

I've wanted a purse like this for so long!

There were a few more items that I would have been thrilled to add to my collection, but they just weren't worth the price. I go to thrift stores for unique and CHEAP things, not to pay more than I would for something new.

Update:

This shirt got lost in the shuffle. I forgot I had even bought it. It's kind of plain, and very casual, but the embroidery is fantastic.
